Delicious Fajitas The Easy Way

Some meals take a lot of preparation and dedication, fajitas, on the other hand, are fun and easy to make. Fajitas are great to make with kids, friends or family – we usually do a “fajita night” when we have friends over and it’s always a blast. This recipe was created and perfected through a few years and it always comes out amazing! Try it, we dare you (wink-wink).

Serves: 3-4 people


1-1½ lbs Beef steak thin sliced
2 Cups barbeque sauce
¾ Cup of hot sauce
Salt & Pepper
1 Tomato
2 Bell peppers
1 Can of corn
1 Cup of shredded lettuce
1-2 packs of Tortilla wraps
1 Box of “Rice-a-Roni” &
“Peter Lugars” Steak Sauce

Step 1.

Cut up the meat into thin strips.

 Step 2.

Cover a heated pan with cooking oil. Place the meat on the pan and let it cook until all sides change color. Add salt and pepper to taste.

 Note: Put the fire on high, so the outside of the meat cooks fast, trapping the juice inside. The meat will cook all the way through later in the process.


Step 3.

Cut up the peppers in thin slices.

 Step 4.

Put another pan (wok preferably) on medium heat and cover the bottom with a little cooking oil. Place the peppers inside and cook for 5-10 minutes until they become soft. Add salt and pepper to tastes.


Step 5.

 Once the meat and the peppers are ready, combine them in one large pan (wok).



Step 6.

Add all sauces to the meat and stir.



Step 7.

 Cook on medium heat for about an hour, until the sauce thickens.



Step 8.

 Keep the pan covered and stir the mix every 10-15 minutes.


Step 9.

Meanwhile prepare the sides. Dice the tomatoes and lettuce, prepare cheese (any) and corn.

 Note: Toppings could be optional and adjusted to taste.

Step 10.

Prepare the rice or “Rice-O-Roni” as per the directions on the box.



Step 11.

Once the sauce thickens
remove from heat.

Step 12.

Heat the Tortilla wraps in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.

Note: It will be easier to make the fajitas once everything is prepared.

Step 13.

Place meat and any other toppings to taste inside the bread.
Fold the bottom part over, then right and left side. Hold the ends with your hand
so it doesn’t fall apart and you are now ready to eat. Enjoy!
